The only food I've had there is the breakfast burrito (no bacon for me) and it's probably the best breakfast burrito in North County San Diego. I can't think of one better breakfast burrito than this, the potatoes are cooked perfect and even, it's well mixed without too much of just one thing on each bite. Amazing salsa too.
My only complaint is NO drive thru, but perhaps it's why the food is great.
Definitely not always convenient if you don't want to get down, decent speed of service. -

Authentic. This place is the real deal, love this place for countless reasons! Armando's is just off the freeway so it's convenient! Easy to place to-go orders (which we usually do) but they have tables inside yayyy! Beans are legit that start with bacon fat HELLO THOSE WHO KNOW K N O W !!! A seriously fantastic taco shop is ALL about the beans! Yup these are muy fantastico! ;)))

Located behind our hotel, we needed something to eat quick after our trip to the beach...that was some great Mexican food. We only bought carne asada tacos, so it was on the safer side. They were not only delicious, but the customer service was speedy and attentive! Thank you Armando's!

The best California and breakfast burritos ever!! I have been coming here since my high school days and love coming with my kids for some good quality food.

The pollo Assad burrito was good but that is as far as I would go. Nice flavor from the grill. The problem I have is that they use dark meat on a pollo asada burrito. It is the only place I can recall where you pay extra and do not get white meat. This leaves the burrito with a slightly chewy, rubbery taste. Just not a fan of dark meat chicken burritos. The burrito is a decent size and is served hot. Good salsas. They do not have a salsa or condiment bar so you will pay extra for carrots and peppers.
